Hello Readers!

I have been writing Hindi web series reviews on this blog weekly for the last two years. The purpose was that the viewers may choose the series according to their tastes and save time instead of searching endlessly or investing too much of their precious time watching something they don't like. But for now, I will be taking a break and shall let you know once I am back. I sincerely thanks my viewers who managed time to read this. Thank you and goodbye.

Inspired by the true story of the 1999 IC 814 hijack, Kathmandu Connection is built on a fictional setup. This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques. The first season was inspired by the 1993 Mumbai blast and this season picks up 5 years after the events of the preceding season. One needs to see season 1 to watch the 2nd season for a better understanding of the plot. Aksha Pardasani as Shivani Bhatnagar is now working for a London-based media house. One day she gets a document regarding the national security threat. She decides to crack down the dangerous conspiracy and finally lands up in Kathmandu following the lead. Anshuman Pushkar as Sunny Sharma is in jail.  Shivani Bhatnagar contacts him and wants him to help her to uncover the conspiracy.  With his help Shivani reaches Kathmandu. Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy is adapted from Malay Krishna Dhar's novel Mission To Kashmir: An Intelligent Agent In Pakistan. COUNTRY MAFIA - V View Reviews #96

Spurious liquor killed 60 people in Bihar, India last week. This news took me to this series: Country Mafia on a similar topic. Set in Bihar, the story of Country Mafia revolves around two siblings Ajay and Nannu. They both are IAS aspirants, but their dream is shattered when their father is killed by a local liquor baron Babban. Ajay, Nannu, and their mother stood up against Babban, a merciless Den, and wanted revenge. All three were ready to sacrifice anything and everything for it. How it happens, and what else happens in the cat-and-mouse chase is the plot. The trailer was intense and therefore the audience was tempted to watch this crime drama, but the series could not match the expectations. Many series on the same theme are seen too often on OTT. Mirzapur, Arya, etc. the story of the Mafia v/s family and with a better version, therefore the comparison is inevitable. The plot lacks novelty and worst it could not connect with the audience. Many characters are unnecessarily introdu...

KHAKHEE:BIHAR CHAPTER - V View Review #95

Khakee:Bihar Chapter is an official adaptation of "Bihar Diaries- The True Story Of How Bihar's Most Dangerous Criminal Was Caught" written by IPS officer Amit Lodha in his Chronicles on Bihar. This series is narrated through the eyes of Ranjan Kumar ( Abhimanyu Singh) the SHO at Sheikpura, 120 km from Patna in Bihar.  As a plot, there is nothing new.  It is the same cop v/s dreaded gangster seen in many Hindi series in recent times like Bhaukal, Delhi Crime, etc. Yet it is binge-worthy as it is very realistic, relatable, and interesting. Based on true events between 2000- 2006 how a righteous, talented and dedicated officer Amit Lodha nabs the dreaded Gangster Chandan Mehto ( the real name is changed) is worth watching. This series follows the two life journeys simultaneously. One of the Protagonists Amit Lodha ( Karan Tacker) and his career growth. He is a newly appointed IPS officer under the Bihar cadre.  He is newly married and settles there with his wife Tanu (Nikit...
