CODE M - V View Reviews #73

Code M is a patriotic, crime, suspense thriller that is streaming on Voot. There are two seasons of this series. Season one revolves around an Indian Army Lawyer Monica Mehra(Jennifer Winget) who discovers a conspiracy plot during her investigation of the military encounter case. Season two picks right where it left off, with new conflict. Here review is on season two. The characters are the same but the location did shift from Rajasthan to Mumbai and Pune. In this season Major Monica Mehra has been promoted.. She is given the duty to provide security for the Chief Minister at the Kargil day celebration. Despite all the safety measures, an attempt is made to kill the Chief Minister. She investigates the attempted assassination and strongly feels that the men behind the mission are an insider. 9 Hours is a series in Telugu which is dubbed in other languages like Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Marathi. Regionalism is Nationalism. With the option of many languages series on OTT, the audience is blessed by choices and OTT is richer. 9 Hours is a series based on Telugu Novel Tommidi Gantalu', written decades ago by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy. The story is set in 1985 and it revolves around three prisoners who escaped from the Central jail and plan a bank robbery. The twist in the story is that these three prisoners need to be back in prison after 9 hours by evening roll call. They intend to rob 3 branches of the Deccan Imperial Bank. Robberies in 2 banks were as per plan but in one branch, things turned complicated. Simple robbery turns into a hostage situation. The bank doors have been shut by the robbers. The candidate with the highest number of diamonds is the winner and he/she can win  3 crores in 30 days... an opportunity for a common man to get quick fame and fortune. It is something similar to TikTok where unknown faces become a star overnight and generate some sources of income as well. In this series, we have the journey of six individuals around whom the show revolves. The horrifying story of a prankster in Delhi called Dark angel or Darkie is played by Sumedh Mudgalker. If any audience intended to watch the light-hearted, heartwarming and enjoyable show, Panchayat on Amazon Prime Video is the right place. It is a situational, effortless, comedy-drama series that keeps you engaged till the end. This show takes you far from the gangs, mafia, and violence, and gives you fresh air from a rural village Phulera...depicting its life and people with bittersweet struggles from everyday life. It takes up one issue per episode and tries to solve it. The plot is simple. It is a journey of an Engineering graduate and a CAT aspirant Abhishek Tripathi. He is unable to find a job of his calibre and ends up working for a Panchayat as it's Sachiv in a remote village named Phulera. Home Shanti is a soft comedy stuffed with emotions in it. It is a story of Sarla Joshi (Supriya Pathak), Umesh Joshi( Manoj Pahwa) and their two teenage kids Jigyasa( Chakori Dwivedi) and Naman(Poojan Chhabra). Sarla Joshi is a prime breadwinner of a family. She is an English teacher in a government school in Dehradun. She will be retiring soon from school and will have to vacate the government quarter they reside in. Therefore, the Joshi family decide to build their home on a small piece of land. Each member of the family has their specifications. Sarla and her husband want their study, whereas Jigyasa wants her separate bathroom, and Naman wants an indoor gym. How will they fulfill their dreams in a limited budget and space is the plot of Home Shanti. It is not the storyline that is important but its treatment is heartwarming.
