I have been writing Hindi web series reviews on this blog weekly for the last two years. The purpose was that the viewers may choose the series according to their tastes and save time instead of searching endlessly or investing too much of their precious time watching something they don't like. Inspired by the true story of the 1999 IC 814 hijack, Kathmandu Connection is built on a fictional setup. This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques. The first season was inspired by the 1993 Mumbai blast and this season picks up 5 years after the events of the preceding season. As the name suggests the story revolves around an Indian secret agent in Pakistan with a special mission. It's a good tale of our unsung heroes. It is a fictionalized drama inspired by true events. The plot is set in the 1960s after the Sino-Indian war. Pakistan was looking for the right opportunity to destabilize India. To evade any aggressive advances from Pakistan, India needed reliable intelligence.
