SUMER SINGH CASE FILES.. GIRLFRIENDS - V View Reviews #12


The story begins with ACP Sumer Singh facing the official enquiry for his method of handling the case. Whatever he replied in the course of  enquiry became the story- line of the series. It is  obvious that he is involved in the case. In the previous season he was an objective police officer.
Both the seasons are independent as far as story-line is concerned. The common link is ACP Sumer Singh. The other common factor that I found was the group of besties who have their own dirty secret to hide.
The story revolves around four girlfriends ..Nirali ,Sonal, Vaidehi, and Ananya. Ran Vijay Singh Sanga who played the role of Sumer Singh falls in love with Nirali ,the role played by Karishma Sharma. His leap into romance takes a deadly wrong turn. ACP Sumer Singh finds himself enmeshed in the lives of four criminals.
This season focuses on the dark side of the digital world, the drug abuse, the cyber crime, the invasion of privacy.,..the harsh reality of the millennial world. By the end of the series and after the completion of official enquiry , ACP Sumer Singh comes out clean. He sounds impressive, honest  and diligent officer who sets a record of solving cases involving youngsters wrapped up in the world of crime.
In this series, we have inspector Hooda, who with his Haryanwi  tone of speaking, brings  some comic relief in the show.
Apart from Ran Vijay Singh Sanga and Karishma Sharma, the other actors in lead role are AditiArya, Priyanka Purohit and Elishor Mayor.

Inspired by the true story of the 1999 IC 814 hijack, Kathmandu Connection is built on a fictional setup. This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques. The first season was inspired by the 1993 Mumbai blast and this season picks up 5 years after the events of the preceding season.
