CITY OF DREAMS - V View Reviews #29

City Of Dreams directed by Nagesh Kuknoor is based on the politics of Maharashtra. There is a failed assassination attempt on one of Mumbai's most influential and veteran politicians Amey Rao Gaikaward. This leads to a rift between his two children for taking over his position and the deep-rooted quarrel within the Gaikwad family comes to the surface. Season 1 deals with the brother-sister shrewd battle for politics. Ashish, the son of Gaikwad is a spoilt brat and a drug addict. He has no wisdom to handle politics. But, he considers himself a natural successor as he is a son. On another hand, Poornima who is intelligent and fair is more deserving but she needs to prove her worth. This leads to a sibling rivalry that ends with  Ashish's death. In season 2 Poornima's father who escaped death comes back into the world of politics. Feels Like Ishq is a simple tale of love stories at the unlikeliest of places. It has six different stories of around 30 minutes each. It explores various shades of love and affection. It's heartwarming, mature, unique and refreshing. The young audience is targeted, therefore most of the settings are modern. Stories are meant to be light-hearted view at romance and are centred around couples that explores love and relationship. Much has been said and written about this war... the result is the Golden history every Indian would like to cherish. The contribution of our army, medals, praises well-deserved respect are beautifully captured in various plots of stories. But, there is the other side of the coin too. The personal loss. Crime next door is a mini web series from Disney+Hotstar Quix. They came up with the concept of short stories and an easy viewing experience for the audience. The plot line of each story is different but the inspector Shekhawat who unravel the murder mystery is common, thus tying them all in a single set. It's a gripping crime thriller with a murder mystery and deceit. The characters are exceptionally portrayed. The lead actors are Yashpal Sharma,  Anupriya Goenka, Girish Kulkarni, Mohan Kapoor, Rajendra Gupta, Kunal Pant, Deepti Devi, Vatsal Seth, Aham Sharma, Sahil Vaid, Trishna Singh, Madhura walanker Satam, Ravi Saha.
