Laakhon Mei Ek (season 1) is a series created by Biswa Kalyan Rath. The plot revolves around a teenage child Aakash. It's all about his struggle to fulfil his parent's dream. The high expectations of parents, the money-making agency like tutorial are covered broadly. It's a typical neighbourhood story where pride matters more than a child. The pathetic living conditions at the hostel of mass IIT Coaching Centre appeared realistic. The quality of life compromised by the parents is also true..finally, the child faces hopelessness and flees. Therefore the title may not be justified. Humour too seems forcefully inserted at times. Constant use of Telugu may not appeal to most of the audience. After seeing something like 'Kota factory' on a similar topic this series can be
 disappointing. Screenplay and picturization are praiseworthy.
Ritwik Sahore as Aakash, Alam khan as Chudail, Jay Thakkar as Bakri, Shiv Kunar Subramaniam as Mr Moorthy, Ajita Kulkarni as Mrs Gupta, Biswas Kalyan Rath as professor Tripathi, Mayank Parakh as Bala Aasuri are in the lead role.

Inspired by the true story of the 1999 IC 814 hijack, Kathmandu Connection is built on a fictional setup. This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques. The first season was inspired by the 1993 Mumbai blast and this season picks up 5 years after the events of the preceding season. One needs to see season 1 to watch the 2nd season for a better understanding of the plot. Aksha Pardasani as Shivani Bhatnagar is now working for a London-based media house.
