Set in the backdrop of Kathmandu, ZEE5's web series The Casino My Games My Rules is an action thriller. The story revolves around Casino and its star dancer Rehana(Mandana Karimi). She aspires to own the casino and her weapon is  seduction that she uses to lure father and son into the trap. She is extremely manipulative and deceptive. She is the keep of Shivendra Singh Marwah(Sudhanshu Pandey) a powerful shrewd businessman who wants to protect the casino at any cost from quite a few of his enemies. He is the owner of the richest and grandest casino in the city. His only son Vicky Marwah(Karanvir Bohra) is the rightful heir to the casino. But Rehana wants him to be killed. There is somebody to protect him as well..she is Camilla(Aindrita Ray) another female protagonist in the show, who gives anonymous warnings to Vicky Marwah. The other cop is inspector Ram(Dhanveer). They all join hands against Rehana and what happens in the process is all the plot about.
The setup is good, the beginning appears catchy. Twists and turns keep the show going. The music,  the title number sounds good though it has nothing to do with the main storyline. The star cast and their performances are okay. Rajesh Khera as a family lawyer Deshmukh is quite likeable. The other lead actors are Mandana Karimi, Karanvir Bohra, Sudhanshu Pandey, Aindrita Ray, Dhanveer. The creators are Hardik Gajjar, Tushar Bhatia.
The poor writing, pathetic dialogue, missing details, lack of continuity, carelessness in direction and scene construction, unrealistic action scenes, poor cinematography, shabbily sketched characters made it a flop show. The ending is kept open to continue it for the next season.
This series can be enjoyed if the audience put all the logic aside and watch it.

Inspired by the true story of the 1999 IC 814 hijack, Kathmandu Connection is built on a fictional setup. This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques. The first season was inspired by the 1993 Mumbai blast and this season picks up 5 years after the events of the preceding season.
