Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein is an ordinary show with a complex love triangle between Vikrant (Tahir Raj Bhasin) Purva(Anchal Singh) and Shikha(Shweta Tripathi Sharma). It is set in a fictional town Onkara, ruled by Akhiraj (Saurabh Shukla). His daughter is Purva who is obsessively in love with Vikrant. Vikrant is an engineer by profession, gets a job in a steel plant and wish to live with his lady love Shikha. But, nothing goes as he maps out for himself. When Purva doesn't get what she wants, things get complicated. As the story unfolds, the light romantic drama gradually becomes a psychological thriller. The aggression with which Purva chases and Vikrant's way to escape from her clutches continues for eight episodes.
The title is from Shah Rukh Khan's movie where the plotline is more or less similar and the song in the background blends with the story.
It's an impressive and talented cast that made this fictitious story believable. The lead roles are played by Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Anchal Singh, Saurabh Shukla, Brijendra Kala, and Anant Joshi. The introduction of a new character and the twist in the climax surely hints at the next season.

This theme is used countless times in different series and movies but it still manages to engage the audience with tight storytelling techniques.
