Dahan Rakaan Ka Rahasya is a horror thriller. Horror is generally liked by the audience. Good thing is that it is not filled with jumpscare every two minutes. It is a good mixture of myth and science. Dahan successfully manages to transport us to the world of legends, occult practices, and beliefs of a village Shilaspura in Rajasthan. A maligned collector Avani Raut (Tisca Chopra) is newly posted in a town with a strange case. Shilaspura is blessed with rare minerals in its mines which she wants to exploit so that the village can flourish. Residents believe that Shilaspura is cursed by a sorcerer named Ridhiyakan and is still trapped in a mound called Shilasthal. Ridhiyakan needs to be appeased so that she can lie dormant in her abode.
